If you have an internet connection open the 'patrole' or automatic virus or spyware identifier.Both AVG and Adware has this capability to catch the infection when it try to intrude your computer.With a pop up they will warn you.You can quarantine i.e. keep the file remove the virus or delete the corrupted file.
